Hotchkiss Air Acoustic type C2 Circular attenuators are available in all standard circular duct sizes from 100mm to 400mm diameter. The C2 range of attenuators offers standard length options 300mm, 600mm, 900mm & 1200mm long, lengths above 1200mm and intermediate length options are available on request. The C2 circular attenuators can be supplied with standard circular duct size male spigot connections at each end (designation C2S) or with a metu-fixing flange attached to the spigot (designation C2SM).
Attenuator construction for this range comprises external pre-galvanised sheet steel spiral tube outer casing, manufactured in accordance with HVCA DW 144 specification, with spigotted end caps. The attenuator inner bore is manufactured from perforated pre-galvanised sheet steel spiral tube, retaining a scrim faced 45 kg/cu.m acoustic media. The C2 range of attenuators, offer minimal resistance to airflow.
