Radisson Hotel at Stansted. We had to attain a rating of NR25 for the hotel bedrooms, a formidable achievement as the hotel is directly adjacent to the runways. Bob Gladden stated that he would be booking his accommodation at Stansted with complete confidence of a sound night sleep.
We have just completed a refurbishment of Sloane Terrace which was formerly a scientology church built in 1926 and has been refurbished retaining all its original furniture and features with the ductwork discreetly hidden. It has been converted into a rehearsal / broadcasting facility for classical music.
We have made extensive in roads into the Irish market with contracts totalling more than £50,000 in recent months.
The ongoing contract at Chelsea Bridge (View Picture) has entered phase 2 with a value of £40,000 for the attenuation to the luxury apartments of which John Major has apparently purchased to be close to the love of his life. No not Norma but the Oval cricket ground. We are currently in negotiation for the order for phase 3 following successful testing of the new fan coil attenuators. Phase 4 tenders are due to commence shortly using the Patented SoundPac insert system.
Supermarkets. The recent introduction of acoustic louvre penthouses has paid dividends. We have recently finished a 5m x 3m penthouse for a supermarket chain for their Oldham store. The unit had to be pre-assembled at our works before being taken apart, having protective packaging added and shipped to site. (View Picture).
